In my new role as senior biz dev, I take on more responsibility and ownership for our innovation strategy and product development, while also expanding my involvement in our international innovation initiatives and keeping up with new gaming mechanisms and trends.

In my new role as Business Development Manager my focus is still on innovation, but with a broader span. I'm an active part of the Lotto App Taskforce team, while also being part of our new international cooperation effort called LEIA, which is a shared game/feature platform between Danske Spil, Svenske Spel, Norsk Tipping, Francaise de Jeux and Veikaus (Finland). Here we'll also try to continue the our shared innovation efforts, which I'll also be a part of.

As an innovation Lab Manager, on the monopolized side of the buisness, my main task have been to drive innovation and try and come up with new games and features for drawbased games, such as Lotto or our instant win games, such as the scratch cards. Our main innovation efforts have been run through CoLab, which is an innovation lab shared between Danske Spil, Svenske Spel, Norsk Tipping, Camelot (UK) and Francaise de Jeux. However, I've also been part of various internal innovation efforts such as a new subscription setup for our lottieries, the Lotto app and our new syndicate feature Spil Sammen.

Alongside my role as innovation lab manager and former role as product developer, I've also spent half of my time as a game expert and later product lead in something called CoLab Innovation.CoLab – a lab for co-creation driven innovation – facilitating the ideation, prototyping and testing of game concepts and experiences. The lab initiative is shared between a number of lotteries, currently: Norsk Tipping, Francais des Jeux, Camelot UK Lotteries, Svenska Spel and Danske Lotteri Spil and supported by Evry & Method. (agencies).We have created more than154 concepts, with nine taken into further development & testing and one real market test carried out in Norway with Norsk Tipping. In the first year I took on a supporting role, aiding the product lead to tweak the concepts, so that they may work in a lottery setting, while still retaining the core of the concept. For year two and now year three, I've taken on the role as product lead, where I'm responsible for developing the concepts, we come up with at workshops and gatherings to an alpha state, while constantly testing, improving and iterating along the way. We have 2 designers assigned to my team, to help me make the concepts come to life, either by making nice visual 1 pagers & landing pages or neat video presentations of the concepts. This role takes up roughly 50% of my time and have required a fair amount of travelling, but It's great to be part of a shared international approach to innovation.

My role was to develop new and exciting games and features for the Danske Lotteri Spil brands. Furthermore, I created a new innovation strategy to support the innovation process and make the new concepts more detailed, business ready and easier to understand. Additionally, I created a full overview of the backlog of idea/concepts in Danske Lotteri Spil, making it much easier to track progress and cut/park concepts for various reasons.

As a product coordinator for draw based games, I've been responsible for brands such as Lotto, Vikinglotto and Eurojackpot. My main focus was on product development and optimization as well as keeping our webpages up to date and operational. My biggest projects have been creating new responsive web pages for the number games as a Product Owner. I've also continued to help optimize the pages based on learnings from users tests, while also implementing new features. I've also been part of the development of the Lotto App from wires to design, where I've been representing the business side. Lastly, I've helped develop and test our new subscription solution and I've worked on developing numerous game prototypes, that we'll maybe see in the future :)

I was initially hired to run a crowdfunding campaign for the game “Jagged Alliance: Flashback “and to help launch the company’s first PC title, “Space Hulk”. We ended up raising ~$380.000 on Kickstarter, which is the highest amount for a video game in Denmark. Being a small company I’ve filled in where needed and during my time here the team have grown from 10 to 25 and have released 3 games during that period. My main responsibilities were managing and engaging with the community through forums, social media and kickstarter updates. I also helped create the concepts for trailers and shoot, sometimes edit, footage for developer diaries.Being PR manager it was also my responsibility to draft press releases in cooperation with an external PR agency, usually they created the initial draft after getting an overview of contents and then I help finalize it for release. I also planned marketing activities and sales for our products and coordinated and setup the product pages for our games, when possible.Lastly, I've done support for both games and coordinated testing (Q&A) bothwithin the team and with external testers.

Besides handling Bandello's launchpad and helping game developers with PR, I kept both the social media and website up to date. Futhermore, I managed the relations with developers and scouted for new potential developers.

At DLF, I was responsible for updating their websites, building databases, sending out direct mails and newsletters, creatiing activity plans, small graphical tasks in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign and also updating the corporate PowerPoint. On top of that a lot of ad hoc tasks.

My primary tasks were to take customers’ orders and handle inquiries about products. Furthermore, I tested customers’ artwork for flaws, using Photoshop, and I made offers for customers using Winfinans or by contacting the factory in Germany. Additionally, I was the IT guy of the company and had a lot of ad hoc tasks, as it was a small company.
