2024 see’s 30 years developing AJ’s Studio & Camera Supplies. During that time I have grown the business to be one of the few remaining independent specialises supplying high-end professional photographic and video lighting systems to a wide variety of client types, covering many markets. Much of the thanks goes to my dedicated team, and our suppliers who believe in our vision. Along with more traditional products, we supply leading industry solutions for automated product photography for stills imagery, 360-degree and video creation to professionals in the e-commerce, photographic and video imaging fields.We are the UK's largest independent suppliers of Profoto lighting, and we work closely with brands such as Aputure and Matthews, to name just a few.Along with the aforementioned, we also supply a wide range of studio accessories and related equipment to help the e-commerce imaging beginner to the seasoned professional; this includes undertaking studio builds and Infinity Cove systems.In 2017 we purchased HiGlide from Bowens UK. HiGlide is a quality ceiling tracking system for suspending photo and video lighting. HiGlide is manufactured in the UK and distributed by us directly and via a dealer network.Our goal is to keep improving our customer experience.

Having started AJ’s in 1994 I have worked closely with professional image creators, universities, hospitals and other institutions to provide solutions for their requirements. Well-known in the trade for my knowledge of almost all things related to studio and lighting. One of my greatest achievements was purchasing HiGlide in 2017. Formally owned by Bowens International, HiGlide is a complete Ceiling Track System designed to elevate your lighting thus creating a safe and clutter-free working environment. With over sixty products in the range HiGlide is now predominantly made locally in the UK and where possible, manufactured from recycled materials. HiGlide is an industry-respected name widely used in hospitals, universities and professional studios.We work closely with many well-known brands and manufacturers to supply high-end studio refits or equipment renewals. We are well known in the trade for our professional attitude, stock levels and knowledge of studio and lighting-related equipment.The largest independent Profoto supplier in the UK, plus I have personally worked closely with Orbitvu automated solutions for more than 10 years.
