As an educator all my career, my joy as a coach stems from helping people unlock their potential and to fly further than they thought possible. I build warm professional relationships with those I work with, using humour, compassion and respect to build the trust that allows me to gently but firmly challenge them.I trained as an executive coach at Henley Business School, and am accredited as an Advanced Practitioner by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council. I am a Lumina Spark qualified practitioner. I have been fortunate to coach people with very different experiences, including universities, small and large businesses, health and social care and charitable sectors.Most of my working life has been spent in universities, as a Professor and a senior leader. I have also held national roles for the NHS supporting the development of research ethics, and board level non-executive roles in businesses, schools, charities, colleges and public sector organisations. I have written widely on education and development.I also act as a consultant on education and research ethics.
