Some solar developers believe larger systems result in the best returns for them. We build at community scale, typically 1 - 5MW systems requiring less than 30 acres, because we believe smaller systems strategically sited can reduce line losses, and because we are concerned about the amount of agricultural land taken out of production and finally, because we want to work with small landholders who either do not have, or are not interested in using vast amounts of land for a solar project.We are a small (but mighty) team based out of North Carolina that came together around a shared vision of developing renewable energy in rural America. Manage development of solar projects from bid through construction to commission for commercial, industrial and institutional customers. Conduct state and federal regulatory and market analysis. Serve as primary point of contact between legal, finance and technical teams and the customer during development, and leads coordination with utility, regulatory and permitting authorities. Manage contract closings.

Managed a team of 20 individuals focused on designing and implementing Oxfam’s domestically-focused humanitarian, development, and advocacy programs. Directed domestic public policy agenda of global initiatives including Fair Trade, Climate Change, and Economic Justice campaigns.

Provided administrative, managerial and program oversight of a $12.5m hurricane recovery program.
