There, I helped steer the group from a standing start to generating nine figures of revenue annually, acquiring over three dozen brands along the way and raising significant equity and debt to do so. I now advise start-ups, roll-ups and businesses in the innovation economy to raise capital, acquire other businesses and, eventually, exit. I also work with others on a part-time basis as their fractional general counsel.Somewhere along the way, I decided that it was time not just to advise businesses, but to buy one, so I acquired an injection moulder. That business has been fine-tuned and has become the launchpad for a roll-up of SME engineering firms.
