I started my journey into the tourism world in 2012 by studying travel and tourism for HSC. As of 2019, I have successfully completed my bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality and marketing at Charles Telfair Institute. I would be suited for a job that will give me a chance to interact with other people, be it colleagues or customers, as I have had a month of work experience at Levi’s brand store at Bagatelle mall, Mauritius. This small venture helped me with my communication skills and put me in situations where I had to deal with predicaments with customers. I am an enthusiastic and hardworking individual that strives on doing what is right for the greater good of a company. Since the start of February 2016, I have been involved in many group assignments for my units at university. This has helped me in increasing my team working skills and my ability to meet deadlines. Also, I have been appointed as a leader in most of my group works so this has given me the opportunity to know what it is like to have many responsibilities. Furthermore, my abilities of working under pressure have remarkably improved as I have to deal with many assignments where classmates neglected to meet deadlines set. I have always been a punctual and reliable person that can be trusted with any job be it to do with money or important documents. I will always be honest and truthful to anybody I work for. I am a patient and humourous person that enjoys an open-minded work environment and a stress-free atmosphere with hard working people. Transport will never be a problem for me as I take pleasure in driving.
