As a member of Project Control team provided cost engineer submissions to master control estimates, quarterly and monthly cost forecasts, controlled contractor’s deliverables, performed trend engineering, management reporting, value of work done certification, cash and accruals reporting, scenario analyses, capital project evaluations and many other duties. Instructed and helped contractors develop reporting package to be submitted to client as per BP Project Controls Procedure, including monthly phasing, cost, value of the work done report, invoice register, cash register, payment certificate and other templates.Created reporting templates and process for cost, phasing, cost vs progress, variance and other report templates for budget holders and higher management to replace existing inefficient system generated reports.Performed remapping of Construction side of the project for Kildrummy Cost Manager Database to eliminate excessive and complicated coding system and use new clear WBS structure instead for better visibility of cost.Set up financial and technical authority levels to budget holders to grant timely approval of commitments and technical approval and certification of work performed for more than $1 Billion budget while maintaining proper internal control.Trained new joined Construction Cost Engineers to become familiar with cost engineering processes and procedures and supervised their work before they became comfortable to work independently.
