Creation of documentation to accompany products from the Schneider EcoStruxure Machine Expert range of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), namely the M262 and its expansion modules. Simulation of customer applications using the Machine Expert Logic Builder Version 1.0. Deliverables include: • Modicon M262 Logic/Motion Controller Programming Guide. This Programming Guide is for developers building customized applications that use the Modicon M262 Controller. • Modicon TMS Expansion Modules Programming Guide. This guide is for developers using Modicon TMS expansion modules to extend the functionality of their Modicon M262 Controller.

As part of the Cambridge Technical Publications team, I worked in the area of I.O.T as an information architect and Senior Technical Author. My two main projects at Qualcomm included:• Qualcomm® Bluetooth Low Energy CSR102x Software Development Kit (SDK) 3.1.1. This development kit consists of around 70 application notes in the areas of Health and Fitness, Human Interface Device (HID), and Automotive, as well as many generic and core applications. Initial tasks included analysis and rework of contents as part of a move from a traditional Word-based documentation and PDF output to a more topic-based style of writing for HTML5 webhelp and PDF output. Re-work tasks include the pre-processing of content for migration from Word into Oxygen and then into a custom Dita-based content management system by Ixiasoft.• QMesh User Guide to help Quartz developers develop their own mesh applications based on an example application. QMesh is a component within a much larger documentation set for Quartz developers.

Creation of user guides for installers and port fitters (web and mobile app), dealers, NationalService Providers (NSPs), and customers (web and mobile app) for an Automotive Platform thatwas launched in early 2017. Deliverables were in Adobe Acrobat, Word, and online help in HTML5.Migration of traditional Word documents to MadCap Flare to make use of the package’s stability, rich functionalities and single sourcing capabilities.

Part of Amadeus Learning Services, in the Central System (Cryptic) documentation team. I used a topic based approach in DocSource, a Word-based documentation tool to make updates to project documentation. I liaised with Technical Leads and Trainers to ensure that updates were correctly documented. Output was in the form of Adobe Acrobat, Word, and Java- or Web-based help systems. I followed through on peer review and editor review cycles to publication.

• Management of the IBM Worklight V5 mobile offering blue-wash release: Server Administration Guide, Development Environment Installation Guide, Developer Reference Guide, Integration Guide, Java API Reference Guide, ObjectC API Reference Guide, Migration Guide, and What’s New in IBM Worklight V5.0 guide.• Migration of the MS Word documents to DITA and post processing of the resulting topics in IDWB and Arbortext Editor. The web version was in the form of an information center and subsequent updates and new content were made directly in DITA.• Two key roles for the Documentation team: Knowledge Centre Workgroup Lead, responsible for researching the migration of existing information centers to a knowledge center in the future and Accessibility Workgroup Lead, responsible for ensuring that new product suites met IBM accessibility requirements. This role involved close contact and collaboration with development teams to prioritize on the accessibility features being integrated into new product releases.• Blue-wash of the ILOG Visualization documentation. Creation of user documentation for advanced Visualization software components and generation of deliverables in the form of information centers, extracted and packaged for translation.
