This research project aims to develop a sustainable approach for crop cultivation and soil productivity by formulating enriched fertilizers using biowaste. The project will focus on identifying suitable sources of biowaste and processing them to extract key nutrients, such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, that are essential for plant growth.The project will also evaluate the efficacy of these fertilizers in crop trials, and provide recommendations for their widespread adoption by farmers. This project is being undertaken in collaboration with Karnataka State Council for Science and Technology and Indian Institute of Science, and aims to contribute to the sustainable development of agriculture in Karnataka.
