My name is Akansh Jaiswal, and I am a Bsc Optometrist based in Pune, Maharashtra. I am a dedicated and passionate professional with experience in the field of optometry, having completed my Bsc Optometry from the Hv Desai Eyes Hospital College of Optometry.My professional journey started in 2020 when I began working as an Optometrist at PADMAVATI EYE CARE, where I gained hands-on experience in the field of optometry. During my time there, I developed a strong foundation in objective refraction techniques, including Retinoscopy and Auto Refractometry, and Dispensing skills, including knowledge of frames and lenses.In addition to this, I also honed my clinical examination skills, including diagnostics of diseases on slit lamps using 90D, and subjective refraction skills, including the use of JCC and Duchrome tests. Furthermore, I gained experience in preoperative assessment using advanced technology such as IOL Master 700, LENSTAR IMMERSION, VARION, and SAC SYRINGING. I also learned to operate a range of ophthalmic machines, including Fundus photo, OCT, B SCAN, A SCAN, PENTACAM, PERIMETRY, Schiortz tonometry, and NCT.Working with different age groups of patients, including those in speciality OPD's for over a month, has enabled me to develop strong management and communication skills. As an Optical Manager, I was responsible for managing the store, and I was able to achieve an average 40% growth in revenue during my tenure.I am currently working as an Consultant Optometrist (Mobile vision center)at Hv Desai Eye Hospital and Part-time practicing at Sunder Optical and Eye Clinic.
