• Performing various types of prior art searches & analytics (Freedom-to-Operate, Patentability/novelty searches, Invalidity searches, knockout, infringement analysis, Landscape studies etc.) • Understanding invention disclosure in various technical domains, e.g. 3D printing, networking, printers, communication, electronics, semiconductors, IT, User Interface, mechanical, Image processing, general etc.• Preparing search reports in various formats (Word & Excel reports) based on the type of prior art search and client requirements.• Reviewing work of junior team members to assure 100% quality for them and mentoring new joiners.

This one year research project was aimed to improve the existing design of Timing Recovery of Gigabit Ethernet by reducing the area and power consumption. The tools used were NC Sim, Matlab and Simulink.

With the increasing complexity of SoC designs and the pressure of the time-to-market, Semiconductor Industry is continuously faced with the challenge of implementing the design specification and verifying it at the same time while meeting the strict constraints it imposes. The verification of the SoC integration takes a lot of time and hence the methodology used is very important. The new methodology overcomes the problems faced by the SoC integrator and at the same time speeds up the time consuming SoC integration verification process.

Worked on the Automation of the insertion of test structures in the ICs. Understood various testing processes and completed a project to map the input/output pins to the respective testing methods. This project automated the manual work of mapping the input/output pins.
