I am focused on making a meaningful difference by advocating science in clinical and medical industries and thereby bring about a current real-world difference for patients within Clinical Operations. I am keen to applying my valuable transferable skills to new challenging positions.The key skills I've developed through rigorous international research and collaborative engagements over past 7 years include: Advanced project management, research, analytical and critical thinking skills with creative practices that supported me to find a first inhibitory novel target phosphorylated site for arrhythmia generation within the cardiac ryanodine receptors (RyR2) at the University of Otago and result in the successful timely completion of my work which assisted in securing $1.2 million research funding and personal heart foundation grant to support my research. Postdoc in United States, to focus on mitochondrial dysfunction associated heart failure and intrinsic mechanism leading in the play of ionic imbalance within the heart during heart failure. Proactive independently or in a team with professional relationship building, networking and collaboration skills as demonstrated by acquiring 2 international cross-functional collaborations resulting in several research article publications and acquiring projects as a result of my findings. Effective verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to comprehend and deliver complex information tailored to suit the audience as evidenced by 10+ conference oral & poster presentations and 10+ publications. Strong hands in interpersonal skills including animal models, molecular biology, electrophysiology and biophysics aiding in scientific growth.  Personable with high emotional intelligence, professional awareness and people-facing skills, a mindfulness of others, and values of diversity and inclusivity as supported by numerous giving back volunteer involvement and international travel, that have collectively enriched me to multiple cultures, backgrounds and societies. When I am not working, I avidly enjoy being refreshed by playing guitar and writing songs.
