• Identifying the scope of improvement by maintaining the quality and yield of product consistently and maintaining safety in the process and equipment as well as with operating personnel.• Accountable for materials management and inventory control to maintain smooth flow of materials with minimum inventory holding.• Efficiently handling packing machine operations & maintenance of Alto pack machine, woodman machine, yamato weigher, chips line , American extruded line). • Developing documents regarding operation, various reports, production planning & trouble shooting. • Accountable for safe work procedures; set standards for inspection, cleaning and repair of equipment during shutdowns. Communicating with Store, Services & Plant Manager to plan for the time ahead• Implementing and monitoring Food Safety based on ISO, HACCP, FSSC 22000 & QA/QC guidelines, update documents, manual & reviewing the requirement from time to time.• Responsible for implementation of kaizen and lean manufacturing systems on process. Accountable for controlling weight variance in woodman paacking machine.• Formulating operational strategies for the quality function by carrying out long term and short term quality planning in line with the organization norms.• Coordinating with the Q.A. staff as well as higher management for any compromise in the quality of the product manufactured under acceptable deviations from the standard values.
