I did an integrated farming techniques project in the Experiential Learning Program. This provided me with hands-on experience in developing integrated farming techniques that combined crop production, livestock management, and environmental conservation for a landless farmer. I was working in a team to come up with ways of enhancing farm productivity, efficient use of resources, and profitability while assuring minimum ecological impact. This internship developed my understanding of the role of biodiversity and optimized resources within modern farming systems, which is in line with my passion for sustainable agriculture.

In the Rural Agricultural Work Experience (RAWE) program, I gained practical knowledge and hands-on experience in rural agricultural practices and farmer engagement.

I got the chance to work on research projects aimed at enhancing the production and cultivation of tuber crops while I was an intern at CTCRI. Among my duties were: helping with data gathering, analysis, and field study on a variety of tuber crops, including yam, sweet potatoes, and cassava. assisting the research team in their investigation of productive and sustainable farming methods. working together with more experienced researchers to record findings and prepare reports for printing.
