Software Application Development & support for OBS-ONE_PP. OBS-ONE_PP is post processing software used to perform post calculation on RDE test data. It is part of the OBS-One system. OBS-One is HORIBA's Portable Emission Measurement System (PEMS). It's used for Real Driving Emission (RDE) testing.Roles & Responsibilities:1. Vehicle regulation & law interpretation2. Software requirement specification preparation3. Calculation flow definition4. Software development using C#5. Test analysis preparation6. Test case creation8. Code implementation9. Test implementation10. Testing- function testing, non function testing, installer testing etc.11. Defect logging & tracking using Redmine12. Using tortoise SVN for version control of code & spec documents13. Debug the code in case of bug fixing etc.

• Responsible for “Vehicle Emission Test System” • Installation Drive panels for Vehicle Emission Test System (VETS).• Device Driver Development• Analysis preparation & modification• Taking regular feedback from customers regarding test automation system.• Providing appropriate solutions for the issues faced by customers or intra organization departments.• Carrying out engineering visits at customer end for new requirements, preparing technical proposals, including technical specifications. • Technical discussions of proposal with Clients/Consultants.• Commissioning of the system once it gets installed as per requirement & after its successful trials.• Integration of chassis dyno. & various emission devices• Test cycle execution & test data validation as per AIS regulations

• Responsible for “Engine Test System”• Participating in project kick-off meetings• Site evaluation, Customer requirement collection & related inputs given to development• Project planning in co-ordination with Project team & site support team• Co-ordinate with functional team, development team, sales & marketing, production department, client/consultant, to ensure that the orders are being executed as per customer requirement & within a stipulated time.• Responsible for simulation, testing & validation of automation system (Orbit-E)• Database customization• Functionality & performance testing of the software to meet customer requirement• Validation testing for new enhancement & features. • Test cases preparation for new development• Keeping track of application changes as per version by using tools like mantis, mail etc.• Project & product document preparation• Customer support in case of site issues or application related understanding• Software integration & testing with various programmable instruments, data acquisition devices, sensors & transducers etc.
