Being part of the Research team I was involved in the analysis of different companies and benchmarking their performances to specified indices like NIFTY . I was required to do this comparison for different time horizons like 1, 2, 5 and 10 years etc and identify patterns in the results. During the tenure of my internship, I also worked on a project titled Trading Strategies in the Equity Market. This internship created a clear idea of the position of the investor in the market that is either to buy, sell or hold certain stocks. This internship also created a clear concept of technical and fundamental tools in order to evaluate the financial stance of the company.

My job was to review the financial statement, documents, data and accounting entries of the company. I had to gather information from a company's financial reporting systems, account balances, cash flow statements, income statements, balance sheets, tax returns, and different internal control systems. The information then collected was used to present all financial data relating to the company in an accurate, fair manner, to ensure that no fraud or gross errors are present in the company.Then we used to suggest changes looking at the financial report procedures to enhance the company's efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and overall performance.

My job was to plan strategies for the company. I visited plants like DSP and ASP in order to communicate new product developments. I had to provide feedback on the market condition to the management team. I had to submit reports on the pattern of demands in the market and on the development of marketing literature. The reports had to be genuine with proper information. Based on these reports strategies were planned for more developments of the business.
