Hi, I'm Akash, and my career path began with a simple goal: getting into a top B.Tech college in India.After two years of relentless effort, I earned a spot at BITS Pilani, pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering alongside an Integrated Masters in Chemistry. During my undergraduate years, I delved into diverse career paths spanning both tech and non-tech domains.My professional journey started with an internship at Elixar Systems as a Business Growth Analyst, focusing on identifying scalable opportunities through strategic collaborations and customer outreach. Following which, I interned with Aditya Birla Group, where I delved into attrition analysis and devised retention strategies.Transitioning to consultancy, I volunteered with Impact Consulting Group, where I spearheaded projects for startups and NGOs. One standout project was helping Gaia Foods in Singapore. We worked on strategies that led under preparation of launch of their new meat product in the region.My finance journey began at Hutah Industry, where I learned about valuing companies using DCF, Scenario analysis and Monte-carlo simulations and making presentations for investors. My tenure at Deutsche Bank in Market and Valuations Risk Management deepened my understanding in FX derivatives and fixed income products, eventually leading to a full-time role as a Senior Analyst. Here, I specialize in pricing complex illiquid bonds using diverse methodologies like benchmarking and spread analysis.Through my journey, I've learned to identify, understand the reasoning and solve problems with precision. I'm eager to explore roles in portfolio management, trading, and research within the financial industry, where I can leverage my skills to create impact.
