Akash Wasil is an AI policy expert who focuses on AI & national security. His work regularly involves communicating key findings to stakeholders in Congress and the Executive Branch who work on AI, tech policy, national security, cybersecurity, and emerging threats. He has also contributed to requests for comments from NIST, OSTP, and the NTIA. He frequently advises government and civil society organizations on proposals relating to AI, critical infrastructure protection, responsible innovation, data center innovation and security, crisis scenarios, and risk management.Akash is a part-time student through Georgetown University's Security Studies Program, where his work focuses on the intersection of AI policy & US national security.
