Complying with the directives of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India, Anti-ragging Committee is formed for overseeing the implementation of the recommendations of the Anti-ragging Verdict.Ahmedabad University has constituted an Anti-ragging Committee. This has been constituted in pursuance of directions and guidelines issued by Hon’ble Supreme Court and the University Grants Commission to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging. Mr BM Shah, Registrar, Ahmedabad University will continue to lead as the Chairperson of Anti-ragging Committee for the year 2020-21.This committee comprising teaching faculty, administrators, students and women representatives, will monitor the measures taken by the College for prevention of ragging, will look into the specific instances of ragging and complaints of ragging; and suggest appropriate action/punishment against individuals who indulge in ragging.The task of this committee is to provide for the effective enforcement of the anti-ragging Regulations by:· prohibiting it,· preventing its occurrence and· punishing those who indulge in ragging at Ahmedabad University.

Resident Manager as a post, one has to live on the hostel property. He/she is on-call any time of day or night and his purpose is to assist the General Manager with the smooth running of the hostel. A Resident Manager, like most hospitality industry workers, will work unusual hours. He is on call 24/7. As a Residence Manager, I will be responsible for the welfare of students in Residences.

While the agenda is set he or she should write the study guide and create the country matrix or character list if it's a crisis based committee.
