Presently working as a Design Engineer in Design & Engineering department of L&T Heavy Engineering.Experience in the design of Static equipment like Reactors, Columns & pressure vessels. Roles include:- Study of ASME codes and customer specifications. - Modeling of Equipment using PV-Elite or Compress software.- Preparation of Mechanical design calculation reports of various equipment as per ASME Section VIII Div 1 & 2. - Preparation of Additional requirement of Material (ARM) as per customer specification & ASME code requirement.- Checking of procurement and manufacturing drawings.- Preparation of other non-pressure part calculation reports like lifting, transportation etc.- Communication with the customer & shop for technical clarifications/resolutions & Document Control.- Attending project kick off meeting (KOM) with the customer, preparation of open item list (OIL) for customer approval. - Approval of design calculations and drawings from Professional Engineer (PE) for ‘U2’ stamp (ASME) and Notified Body (NoBo) for CE marking (PED).
