• Design new functionality in a way that it complies with the architectural standards of the application and keep the design simple and maintainable.• Effectively diagnose, communicate, and fix application bugs by brainstorming best possible solutions within defined Service Level Agreements.• Adapt to new technologies and toolsets as needed.• Work on applications through all phases of software development including design, implementation, testing and deployment.• Produce clean, unit-tested, and refactored code.

• Designing, development and maintenance of existing and new web based applications using JAVA/J2EE and its various frameworks.• Analyse and evaluate user needs and develop software solutions accordingly.• Documenting every aspect of the project which includes Change Specification, Design Specification, Unit test cases, Impact Analysis , Traceability matrix etc.• Work collaboratively and professionally with other associates in cross functional teams to achieve goals.• Performs technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.• Refactor code in order to keep the code clean, easy to understand and maintainable.• Enforcement of standards and best practices.• Active participation in code reviews and walkthroughs.• Utilizes software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes, and debuggers in the software development process.• Support the deployment activities for the applications.

• Collaborating with project teams to turn business requirements into detailed design specifications and build the solutions various JAVA/J2EE .• Create unit tests and test the developed software.
