Working as an Instructor and a Teaching Assistant for GEARE Global Design Projects - virtual design collaboration projects between undergraduate students at Purdue and partner universities in Ecuador and Mexico. Projects include• Design of a Water Tunnel• Design of low cost cooling solutions for storing mangoes in Ecuador• System level analysis of problems and solutions to address water shortage in Manglaralto, EcuadorResponsibilities include, but not limited to• Guiding the students as well as tracking their progress by means of assignments and reflections in the design process• Conducting need-based lectures on topics relevant to the projects• Managing multiple stakeholders involved with the projects

• Currently working towards building an understanding of Innovation Ecosystems through multiple perspectives of Innovation, Complex Systems, Design, Entrepreneurship and Social Sciences.• Developed training modules for democratization of Comprehensive Success Factors Analysis (CSFA), a tool used to identify priority areas for research in international development settings.• Performed due diligence of early stage startups from Purdue University and made investment recommendations to expert investment panel on behalf of Purdue Ventures.

Performance Testing of HVAC equipment • Developed a non-intrusive low-cost refrigerant measurement sensor kit using Arduino microcontroller and Python which can potentially save up to 10 times the cost and time as compared to existing methods. Awarded 3rd position in the Student Paper Competition for a conference publication on this work.• Developed a system for automatic charge variation in vapor compression systems to determine the optimal refrigerant charge in the system. (Patent pending)• Worked towards development of a novel load-based testing methodology for accurate performance characterization of variable speed air conditioning units.• Awarded two grants from Engineers Without Borders Chill Challenge for developing innovative refrigeration solutions suitable for off-grid communities in Africa and South Asia.

Served as a teaching assistant for two graduate level courses – Sustainable Energy Options and Solar Energy Technology. Responsibilities included taking occasional lectures and developing content for assessment.
