I have extensive experience working on the verification of various flight display system applications.The work involves the verification of Input Output Application which is one of the most safety-critical (DO-178B DAL A) and essential components of the display system. Input Output Application is the gateway to this display system. All critical inputs coming to the displays like Angel of Attack, Cabin Pressure/Temperature, Airspeed, etc. are being validated by Input Output Application. It is the highest safety-critical application as per DO-178B guidelines because it ensures that the pilot always gets the latest and correct data on display. I have more than 7 years of working experience in single-handedly verifying Input Output Applications.Verification Activity includes developing Test cases and Test procedures as per DO-178B guidelines, capturing test results on host and rigs, structural coverage analysis (SCA) of source code, model coverage analysis (MCA), participation in software requirement reviews, participation in source code reviews, Test framework upgradation.I have also been part of verification activities of other display applications like Primary Flight Display, Navigation Display, Airport and Mini-Map, Crew Alerting, Engine Indication, Electronic Checklist, System Pages, Maintenance Pages, and Display Window Manager.Using my extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of Input Output display application, I have published a white paper on “Input Output Considerations for cockpit display”.Link: https://embeddedcomputing.com/application/automotive/input-output-considerations-for-cockpit-display.For all this, eInfochips has awarded me with Core Value Award, 3 Pat On the Back Awards, Best Team, and Best Project Awards.
