I'm tenaciously resourceful, consistently innovative, and cross-functionally collaborative. My greatest strengths are having grit, and building a mental "table of contents" to help others and myself connect dots to then dive into chapters. This leads to consistently and reliably creating solutions from new and existing ideas by bringing specialists together, asking questions, and looking at challenges differently than many people. This is mainly due to my very unique path through life, school, and work. - Goal: Making data actionable to improve the quality of life of those that need it the most. - Drive: I relearned how to walk after sustaining an injury. I relearned how to learn after sustaining another. Then I completed both my Biomedical Engineering BS and Engineering Management MS from Johns Hopkins. This was possible because of my diligence, patience, perseverance, sources of support, and use of medical devices and the healthcare infrastructure. Finally, my goal and drive came from collecting, algorithmically transforming, and visualizing data on myself that led to a transformative moment once I showed it to my fellow patients. It blew my mind what happened when it was presented in a way they could intuitively digest and gain value. I have a responsibility to use the life I got back to improve the quality of life of others, not just in health but as people. - Plan: Leverage my cumulative experiences to bring innovative and effective solutions to improve quality of life.- Career goals: Refine my ability to address various needs and aspects (e.g. commercial, regulatory, organizational, technical) of bringing solutions to people. Gain technical and non-technical skills to empower intelligent (intelligence = knowledge tempered by common sense) teams to commercialize innovative and effective solutions.Overcoming challenges have led me to start companies, patent inventions, have designs launched nationwide and used in hospitals, earn grants and win awards. I wouldn't change a thing.My best moments have come when I’ve jumped in (or people with more experience threw me into) the pool at depths deeper than ever before. I don't plan on stopping.
