I provide legal guidance and strategic advise to institutional investors to assist them analyze and manage risk to achieve their goals in control and non-control equity investments. My clients include private equity funds, venture capital funds, independent sponsors and other institutional investors as well as companies in all stages of development. In this role I oversee and manage complicated transactions primarily in the lower middle market across a broad range of industries, including healthcare, food and beverage, technology and telecommunications, financial services, energy and manufacturing.I am proud to have served as the initial office managing partner of McGuireWoods Dallas for 5-1/2 years following our launch in 2014, overseeing our growth from six partners to more than 40 attorneys in a thriving office. I am privileged to work with McGuireWoods lawyers across the country and internationally who represent numerous private equity firms and independent sponsors, several of the nation's largest commercial lenders and many of the best known companies in America, and who strive to bring our clients value outside the billable hour.I also serve as member of the board of directors of Mosaic, a large national 501(c)(3) providing services that empower people with disabilities, mental and behavioral health needs and autism, as well as aging adults to live their best life.
