Designed and developed a simulator tool to validate the transactional capability of HANA database before migrating from Oracle to HANA.Accomplishments:- Quickly instrumented the Ariba applications to capture the time sequenced Oracle queries with minimal performance degradation.- Wrote transformers to convert Oracle specific queries to HANA compatible queries.- Used Apache Flume to efficiently transfer Oracle query logs to HANA simulator cluster.- Identified HANA issues and worked with HANA engineering teams to fix critical issues.- Created detailed design documentation and successfully transitioned the product to another team.
