After a successful career in many different aspects of the corporate sector, Akavar is now active in behavioral health. The two areas of focus are as a peer advocate and working as a certified WRAP© facilitator.The peer advocate work is for CSPNJ and involves two primary responsibilities. One is respite work in a psychiatric emergency room where he helps individuals (and their families) who are experiencing psychiatric emergencies.Akavar is an experienced and effective facilitator who is able to work in a wide variety of settings.
