In January 2016, Andrew returned to Adelaide and the Banking and Finance team at Finlaysons. Andrew also works closely with the Risk and Dispute Management team.Andrew's work focuses on insolvency and commercial litigation and he has a broad range of experience in complex litigation, including professional indemnity insurance claims, claims against company receivers and managers and general commercial litigation, as well as security enforcement and recoveries claims.

Andrew relocated to London in May 2014, providing legal consulting services to various firms including Clifford Chance, Hogan Lovells, Herbert Smith Freehills and Browne Jacobson.Whilst at Browne Jacobson, Andrew was an Associate in, and formed an integral part of, the Financial Services Litigation team acting on behalf of the Trustee in Bankruptcy of Bernard L Madoff Investment Securities LLP. In his other roles, Andrew provided support to the litigation and dispute resolution teams at Clifford Chance, Hogan Lovells and Herbert Smith Freehils, with regard to regulatory, commercial and EU competition matters. These roles involved reviewing, assessing and categoiring complex commercial documents, managing other legal consultants in their roles and providing valuable feedback and assistance to the various litigation and dispute resolution teams.

Andrew joined the Banking and Finance team at Finlaysons following completion of the clerkship program throughout December 2010 to February 2011.During his time at Finlaysons, Andrew was heavily involved in major commercial litigation relating to auditor's negligence arising from the audit of a large public company's financial statements. He has also been involved in a number of valuer negligence claims, claims made against company receivers and managers as well as general commercial litigation, security enforcement and recoveries matters. Andrew has had experience working for major domestic banks and financial institutions, external administrators and public companies.

Throughout his studies Andrew gained experience in commercial litigation as a law clerk to Mark Hoffmann QC in which he predominantly performed focussed legal research tasks.
