He received his B.Sc. degree in Aerospace Engineering and his M.Sc. degree in Mechatronic Engineering with a specialization in robotics control from the Electrical Department at K. N. Toosi University of Technology. This university is recognized as one of the top three engineering universities in Iran, and he ranked first in his undergraduate program and third in his graduate program. Vahid is currently a robotics researcher in the ARAS Research Group and the Center of Excellence in Robotics and Control at KNTU and a software developer at Sina Robotics and Medical Innovators Co.. His current research interests include robotics dynamics and control, artificial intelligence, human-robot interaction, probabilistic robotics, and data fusion.
