I was associated for over 10 years with international development organizations such as USAID and UNICEF in professional capacities ranging from project officer to program manager responsible for the management of multi-million dollars infrastructure and social development projects in Pakistan. I have participated in a number of surveys, evaluations, training programs, environmental assessments, and social soundness assessments conducted for development initiatives.In an effort to contribute to change at a macro level, I have been part of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf headed by Imran Khan ever since its inception. During the election 97, I was assigned the task of organizing and conducting the PTI’s election campaign in Balochistan. In March 2000, I was appointed as the Central Information Secretary of the party to replace Mr. Abdul Sattar who was appointed the Foreign Minister of Pakistan. During the Election 2002, I managed the entire PTI media campaign and was the architect of the party’s manifesto, which was rated as the best and most innovative by PILDAD (Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development).I relinquished the responsibility of Central Information Secretary in August 2007. I have, until September 2011, remained as the Political Spokesperson, Member of the Central Executive Committee and the Core Committee of PTI. I was the Central Vice President, Information and Media Management until September 2011.
