This position was offered by Ball State University as part of the State of Indiana's Grow Your Own Educator program. In this role I completed the EdTPA, a nationally recognized teaching assessment developed by Stanford University, with an above average score of 46. I was greatly rewarded by the ability to make a lasting difference in the education of students with whom I share a bond to New Castle, Indiana.

My responsibilities as an import/export agent at Nissin International Transport's Indianapolis branch involved arranging the logistical transportation of cargo from customers in the US to customers in Japan. I worked with the United States Customs and Border Protection Agency's online systems in order to prepare documentation for air export. I also was required to communicate bilingually in English and Japanese with customers and overseas affiliates in this role.

As a Multimedia Storyteller for this organization, I updated and maintained a blog featuring my own photo and video content.
