As a seasoned expert specialized in data technology with 25 years’ experience at three industry juggernauts: banking–Wells Fargo (WFC), payment–American Express (AXP), and retail–Walmart (WMT). I've pioneered several breakthroughs with an exceptional track record building novel solutions exploiting emerging technologies to spearhead new business capabilities powered by innovation, advancing the technology frontier, and by establishing a unique capability for the business to dominate competition. I always start with what a business wants to achieve and how that helps create a new and memorable customer experience, leveraging emerging technologies and by envisioning the audacious. In the process I develop a new capability for the business for rapid growth with a competitive edge. Some of my tours de force:◆ As corporate entrepreneur with street-cred from bringing big data capability from inception to fruition, scaling it exponentially, I established the enterprise data lake at WFC, first among the top-four US banks; built and scaled AXP’s big-data platform from scratch, setting the bar for the payment industry. ◆ As a forward-thinking innovator I constantly bring future-proof solutions to accelerate transformation.
