I have dedicated my career to creating opportunities for people to access and secure life changing assets -- be it a home, an education, a better job. I have worked in the affordable housing, workforce development, and not for profit industries and I have provided countless hours in a consultant capacity working with primary, secondary and post secondary education and youth serving institutions, social service agencies and community development corporations.My experience includes:Overseeing the programmatic, financial and administrative duties of a Non-Profit, serving as Executive Director;Owning my consulting firm provided grant writing and reporting, program design and evaluation services to over 2 dozen Indiana non-profit and educational institutions; Securing philanthropic grant resources totaling over $1 million;Preparing federal and state grant applications;Researching, authoring and presenting several public policy reports to policy makers;I can analyze complex government rules and regulations and translated them into understandable language;I can design and implement youth, social service, job training, community health and housing programs to meet the needsI can evaluate the effectiveness of these programs and I can raise the money needed to underwrite these important endeavors.
