Being passionate about being a Business Analyst made me pursue a Master’s degree focused in Business Analytics at The University of Texas at Dallas after a long career gap. My bachelor’s degree in EEE is a very big plus which taught me how to solve problems and find better solutions. Throughout the 4- year study, I acquired a firm grip on the fundamentals of subjects like Engineering Mathematics, Circuit Theory, Microprocessor and Microcontroller, Computer Fundamentals, and Object-oriented programming. I found that I am excellent at solving problems and finding various solutions to a problem.In my own time, I undertook computer courses, acquiring proficiency in C, C++, Java, and SQL. In the end, I fixed my goal of joining the IT sector and started learning more programming languages and tools. I applied all my knowledge gained from my Bachelor’s and coding courses to my job. While working at Infosys, being an ETL developer, I mostly work with data. Most of my work is preparing data reports, writing SQL queries, developing SSIS packages, performing job monitoring, and collecting reports on the jobs which were required for data validation. This made me curious to learn more about Business and Analytics which is now the big scope in the market. Now, I am here at UTD pursuing my MSBA degree.Willingness to learn new things, add them to my skillset, and excel in my field is my key priority now and forever.Skillset – Python (Sklearn, pandas), R programming, SQL, SSIS, Informatica, Cognos, MicroStrategy.
