I have always been interested in art, but unlike most people who prefer to be on stage or out front, I am more interested in supporting and working behind-the-scenes to make things happen. As a teenager, I began to help out with school productions by managing resources and expenditures. This is how my story started in both arts and accounting and became one of my greatest passions.Later on, I pursued a bachelor's degree in accounting. Currently, I have 10+ years of experience performing accountancy and administrations functions related to film, TV, theatre productions. My expertise extends to budget management, planning, accounts reconciliation, financial reporting, accounts payable and administrative transactions. Moreover, I have mastered the reduction process of film or theatre production costs without sacrificing creative ideas or artistic results, which has brought exceptional value to the different production projects I have worked with.During my time working in film and theatre productions, my strongest asset has been my ability to stay on budget, which in this industry is very important. Furthermore, I have a proven track record of excellent time management and great communication skills that will allow me to be an asset in any business's accounting department.I have been working with various organisations that provide help for kids with Autism. Although, I am not on the frontline of behaviour support for these children. I am able to assist parents in making the accounting side of therapists less overwhelming by providing clear invoicing and answering their concerns in a polite manner while still understanding them fully.I am half Japanese and half Mexican, which has given me the best of the two cultures. On one side it has instilled in me a sense of responsibility on the other, I possess a strong work ethic who always gets things done even when they are difficult or complicated.When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends at the beach or camping. My favourite hobbies include reading and watching sports such as F1 and baseball - my favourite team is the New York Yankees!
