Started as an intern, and later joined full time as a software engineer at Tandem Computers. Developed and tested a core technology of the fault tolerant operating system (using C, C++) deployed in ATM machines at large financial institutions. Tandem Computers was sold to Compaq and eventually to Hewlett Packard.
