Supervised 15 employees and coordinated with consultants to encourage VP Joe Biden to enter the 2016 US presidential race. Developed a high-level media and public relations strategy, procured endorsements, and crafted press releases with solid mediarelations, which led to campaign coverage by mainstream news media outlets. Coordinated constituent engagement by executing an extensive national phone-banking campaign. Administered all outbound communications, including drafting engaging content for use with digital initiatives and campaign website. Focused on recruitment and fundraising efforts to gain 250K+ supporters generating $1M from a grass-roots donor base.

Political Consulting Work During Chicago 2015 Municipal Election CycleField Organizer – Jesus “Chuy” Garcia for Chicago Mayoral Campaign Coordinated field operations for 8 Northeast Wards in the City of Chicago. Directed the organization and staffing of community outreach events, maintaining a high degree of campaign visibility.  Cultivated and distributed a weekly newsletter to volunteers while managing and updating the Facebook page.Deputy Field/Communications Director – Friends of Bob Fioretti Mayoral Campaign Partnered with the Communications Director to manage the overall marketing program, design promotional materials and marketing collateral, photograph events, and coordinate press releases and press conferences.  Performed detailed technical analysis to form a targeted voting universe and construct a field outreach plan, collaborating with the Field Director to organize and handle all daily operations across the city.  Supervised a dynamic, 20-person team of Chicago-wide regional field organizers, ward captains, and volunteers to perform weekly phone bank and canvassing activities while also organizing recruitment events and assisting the scheduler in planning candidate's activities.Regional Field Organizer – Karen Lewis for Mayor Exploratory Committee Oversaw field operations across six Northside Chicago Wards while also leveraging strong communication skills to recruit volunteers via social media, community presentations, and relational meetings.  Facilitated training events to guide volunteers on best practices for petition collection, data entry, and phone banking.

 Orchestrated 30 mini-fundraising events raising pledges of $100K, initiating follow-up and collection with all donors while also serving as a vital member of the annual dinner team, with 1K attendees, and the pillars dinner team, held for $1K/month donors.  Led outreach efforts to build meaningful member relationships and partnered with 60+ member institutions across Northern Illinois to collect $50K in membership fees.  Spearheaded the organization of the 6th Annual Illinois Muslim Action Day in Springfield, traveling with 100 Muslim community leaders and 100+ high school students to advocate for various bills and resolutions while also researching and composing legislative policy papers and organizing advocacy training for attendees.
