FoodFlow is a registered nonprofit organization that aims to tackle the issue of food waste through technology. Our mission is to link food businesses with extra food to non-profit organizations, aiming to reduce food waste and ensure access to healthy meals for those in need. We are currently in the process of developing an app and are partnering with Mayor Sangeetha Rayapati and Congressman Eric Sorensen to integrate the software into Moline, IL.

We are a not-for-profit program dedicated to providing accessible after-school tutoring for children in grades two through five. Our mission is to deliver high-quality support to students in 2nd through 5th grade, empowering them to excel academically and beyond. Currently, we engage 15 high school tutors who meet weekly with elementary students in the Moline-Coal Valley School District. Under the mentorship of a Business Professor, I am working on writing a paper focusing in on how AI can be used to increase customer engagement and experience. Specifically, I'm researching how companies can use AI models such as ChatGPT and pair them with agents. The agents work alongside the AI models, converting unstructured queries into steps humans can use to communicate with customers.

The Civic Leadership Institute (CLI) provides students a unique opportunity to explore current social and political issues through service-learning experiences, exchanges with community leaders, and academic study. Students build awareness and opinions, develop critical thinking skills through dialogue and debate, hone their leadership skills, and create an action plan on a topic of interest, encouraging them to make positive change.
