• Machine learning system for precision agriculture solutions: In collaboration with IRDA(Institut de Recherche et de Développement en Agroenvironnement) and Agricultural Canada, I created systems for quantifying weed infestation among various field crops. Farm-level infestation maps are estimated from drone-captured data to recommend intervention plans.• Created Machine Learning systems for Cognitive Load Understanding from physiological data. Signals from ECG, eye-tracking, and motion-tracking are captured from wearable devices. Built a generic model and then user-specific adaptations are performed with baseline data from each user.• Created LIDAR mapping systems with UAVs. The point cloud and localization (using a dedicated IMU) are captured synchronously using the RoS platform setup in Jetson Nano and mounted as payloads on a drone.

Built a Medication Verification System. Text data from medication packaging are extracted using OCR, and they are then parsed by our domain-specific fine-tuned LLM, trained on medical text (PaddleOCR,LLama2)

Developing impairment detection from multimodal data (voice and image) to flag cannabis and alcohol intoxication as well as sleep deprivation.

Worked with the Global AI Accelerator (GAIA) team at the Montreal office. Focused on building robust object detection algorithms with less supervision for training. Domain adaptation is used to improve robustness and semi-supervised training to work with less supervision. Applications include site inspection & monitoring using drone imagery.

I worked on customer feedback analysis of telecom and retail companies, using Deep Learning based NLP solutions. Specifically, we built Deep Learning models for solving NLP problems like Text Categorization, Sentiment Analysis, Intent Extraction, Topic Models, etc. ►Algorithm side: We use word-vectors constructed based on skip-gram or CBOW model. For the feature engineering part, we use RNN(and different variants of it), CNN, etc.►Technology side: We develop mostly on python with tensorflow, scikit-learn, numpy, scipy & nltk
