InternMsetcl Dec 2021 - Jan 2022Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra, IndiaMy internship at 100/22 kV substation in Taloja, Navi Mumbai, was a truly hands-on experience. Here, I took a month-long training and understood the mechanism of different stages of the system facility namely, transmission, distribution, and generation apparatus. The internship offered me an opportunity to perform wide-ranging tasks by employing several electrical test equipment. I used Megger to measure the resistance of lightning arrestors, Leakage Current Measurement (LCM) device to measure the leakage current of the lightning arrestors. I also got to work as an operator in the control room of the substation where I monitored different readings and reported to my supervisor whenever a fault occurred. -
InternRcss Jun 2021 - Jul 2021Nashik, Maharashtra, IndiaI interned as an industrial trainee at Research Center for Sustainable Solutions, Nashik. Here, I took a month-long training on renewable energy systems. In addition, to taking professional training modules on the market of sustainable solutions, I got to work on assignments related to power electronics and renewable energy. As an assignment, I did battery sizing and solar panel designing calculations.
