Handling New Product Development activities in Wire Harness

Handling new products development activities for Wire harnesses .Involved in every step in the development and manufacturing process, including: • Customer requirement analysis • Supporting customer for design of cable assemblies by suggesting alternate / equivalent components for cost reduction, better reliability etc. • Coordinating with SCM to get the best quote for the components mitigating the MOQ & Expediting the lead time as per the project requirement. • Identification of Manual/ Hydraulic /Pneumatic tools as per the requirements. • Preparation of Costed BOM and getting approval from finance through BDG. • Raising Purchase Requisition of Components & tools required for Proto build. • Completion ERP System procedures and Release of Work Order. • Preparation of BOM, Flow Chart, Visual Work Instruction, FMEA & Process Control Plan, DMR, Configuration Matrix, General Work Instruction. • Identification of components and preparation of Testing Fixtures. • Completion of Documentation and Releasing the Product to Production.
