As a writer with an MA in Magazine Journalism from Nottingham Trent University, I have a passion for writing about art, popular culture, social media trends, fashion, history, health, and lifestyle. I have honed my skills in journalistic writing, editing, copywriting, video editing, interviewing, social media content creation, analytics, SEO, and designing through my coursework and internships. Most recently, I worked as an editorial intern at Women's Health, where I wrote several news pieces and feature articles, researched interviewees and social media trends, collected data for features and contributed to the print and online editions of the magazine. My beauty piece on this autumn's pumpkin spice make-up trend and the viral coquette aesthetic emerged from my interest in creating written content inspired by social media trends. I also gained valuable insights into the behind-the-scenes process of a big publication. Previously, I interned as a writer at LeftLion magazine in Nottingham where I got to write interview features on eminent people like the three-time Booker Prize-nominated author, Jon McGregor and the art director of the award-winning New Art Exchange in Nottingham. As a reporter at Nottinghamshire Live, I also published various articles, interviews, and news reports. With my experience and qualifications, I am currently seeking a full-time role in content writing, social media content creation, copywriting, editing, publishing or PR, where I can apply my creativity, writing skills and ideation to produce quality content that informs, entertains and inspires readers.
