I am currently in my third year of the PhD Program in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University. My work with Prof. Seyed Iravani involves optimising the fake news detection process for social media platforms. Using tools from mechanism design, econometric methods, dynamic programming and stochastic modelling, I am interested in designing efficient service operations (with strategic agents), and optimizing processes (like fake news detection, efficient supply chains) of interest to the societal benefit.
