Family Support Specialist
CurrentWork with the PATHH and Family Support Services Director in maintaining the Centralized Wait List by contacting families to triage and connect to resources on caseload with 40 to 60 familiesMaintain regular and timely communication with Director around any issues concerning the safety, stability, or well-being of children and their families on CWL and newly assigned therapeutic placementProvide ongoing, therapeutic intensive case management for families who have survived sexual and/or physical abuse through the utilization of clinically focused interventionsSubmit detailed and thorough documentation in compliance with policies and proceduresAssist in the facilitation of six-week long psycho-educational group therapy sessions for children who have survived sexual abuse and their caregivers on a range of topics related to dealing with the effects of trauma three times per yearSupport the development of Chicago Advocacy Network for Hope in accordance with grant requirements set forth by the Office on Violence Against WomenAnalyze and organize data to present at internal and community meetingsAttend comprehensive trainings on various treatment frameworksParticipate in ongoing supervision
