Joined a start up in Chile as an intern with a primary focus on a 3-year-old patient. I utilized CAD software, Inventor and Fusion, to create 3D printed polymer models of prosthetic limbs. Implemented iterative prototyping techniques to refine the quality and design, incorporating feedback from end-users to achieve optimal fit and functionality. Used innovative features, such as adjustable sizing and hand movement mechanisms, to enhance the user experience for young children and facilitate easier prosthetic adaptation. Successfully overcame our biggest challenge, finding a method to build a low cost prothesis while maintaining a high-quality product but also finding a way to reuse as much material when the prothesis was modified as the child grew.

Conducted a comprehensive analysis of the entire manufacturing and quality control process for vitamin C supplements, from raw material procurement to final product distribution, identifying areas for improvement and optimization. Implemented Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to streamline production workflows. Monitored KPI’s to track the impact of process improvements on production efficiency, waste reduction, and overall cost-effectiveness. Conducted root cause analysis, Ishikawa diagrams, for production issues and implemented corrective actions to enhance product quality and consistency. Amended the SOP to minimize waste and cut down on product loss, resulting in a 7.5% improvement in output.

Worked with micro-enterprises and non-profit organizations to support their business and organizational growth, while being mentored and trained by V2A management consultants. In the team of fellow, we attended informational meetings, conducted proposal presentations, petitioned grants for funding, and created excel documents (organize expenditures). I used my analytical skills to solve and simplify logistic challenges.
