CurrentAs a Mechanical Design Engineer at Worldwide Machinery Ltd, I led the designing and optimization of heavy machinery vehicles and accessories for underground oil pipeline, mining and construction projects.Working closely with the fabrication team, I ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs to fabrication, enhancing structural integrity and operational efficiency.To improve product performance, safety, and manufacturability I drive key initiatives, including developing CNC machine coding, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and custom design modifications.Key Responsibilities & Achievements:• Redesigned critical mechanical components, including a $500K mobile crushing machine, successfully reintroduced to the rental fleet.• Led high-impact projects, such as the design of 40 tractor cabs for a major Saudi Arabia project, significantly boosting company revenue.• Spearheaded design efforts for custom solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing production errors.• Created precise CAD drawings, incorporating welding descriptions, GD&T, and layouts, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.• Worked directly with fabrication and maintenance teams to provide engineering support, resolve machine issues, and enhance overall workflow efficiency.• Developed comprehensive engineering reports, identifying machine failure causes and implementing effective design solutions.• Supported project management efforts by preparing BOMs, reviewing engineering drawings, and ensuring timely updates to meet deadlines and quality standards.My role involves using advanced design techniques and close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and continuous improvement in machinery performance.
