The work also included the recruitment of personnel if necessary, for example, in cooperation with (Rejlers), we implemented the commissioning of the equipment at the customer. Cooperation with different stakeholders, such as (sales, warehousing, maintenance, export, invoicing.) Often the work also required participation in these roles in addition to one's own work. In my work, I learned the legalities of the gas industry and got an insight into the different requirements of the job, its different work phases and roles.

The SAPPI Kirkniemi factory has about 2,000 mechanical seals. The prices of these range from hundreds of euros to several thousand euros per piece. My task was to find out the costs of these seals on a monthly basis and monitor the development of the costs by reporting the situation to the SAPPI Kirkniemi factory every month. The purpose was to present production improvement proposals to the factory, always on a per-seal basis.According to this, the factory, in cooperation with John Crane, was able to develop the process and reduce the costs arising from the replacement of seals, thus saving the workers' time and also verifying the functionality of the factory.This was a project-based assignment for the client Sappi kirkniemi.

(Wind power, Generators, Induction motors).At work, I handled the maintenance, repair, and warranty issues of ABB motors, generators and wind generators in cooperation with the warranty team. In practice, they gave limit values ​​for performance and dimensions as well as features and accessories. The information about this was transferred electronically to the Helsinki factory, and the design of the machine began in practice at the Helsinki factory. After that, my tasks included customer contacts and communication about manufacturing, as well as organizing the FAT test at the factory, where the customer often came to watch the test. The tests lasted from one day to about a week if we also tested frequency converters and transformers. If some shortcomings appeared during the test, it was part of my job to agree on them with the production and the customer.

The engines were sometimes disassembled at the customer's place and brought to the repair shop for maintenance. In this case, I was able to get to know the customer's production equipment and processes very well.

My work was electrical and automation design work and design procurement and invoicing.I did design work for companies such as (Stora Enso, Imatra Steel, Imatra Kaupunki). The work included, for example, renovation of social facilities, improvement of street lighting, improvement of hood lighting, automation of the heating center. At work, I practically worked for the client, where the work actually took place. I used the AutoCad design program to make the drawings.

During my studies, I did an internship at Imatra Steel, where I worked as an electrical automation designer trainee and installer. My work included drawing up automation drawings using the AutoCad program. I also participated in the factory modernization project "Bloom casting machine modernization", for which I also did engineering work for the company. At work, I was able to concretely do design and installation and got a good understanding of the operation of the Imatra steel factory. I collaborated with the project staff, installers and foremen in this modernization project. The tasks also included various routine maintenance, when the situation allowed it.
