At Accenture Aki learned most of his UX skills and methology. At first he was requested to share his usability and interaction design skills in a .fi-domain management project at Ficora (Finnish communications regulatory authority), but later on he hit the Jackpot: Aki's career at Nokia / HERE ignited when he started working externally as front-end developer for a team who was developing an internal big data visualisation tool, for which he was also providing UX design as well as UI and interaction design. While working with Sagire in Helsinki, Aki was introduced with Agile Methodology and working in Sprints. After getting familiar with the new, brilliant ways of working he started helping with scrums and took care of technical side of project managing. With his team he was was rebuilding and maintaining multiple Grails based e-commerce sites for the biggest book publishing company in Finland. Aki started his web development career at TVP Networks and advanced quickly from junior web developer role to a front-end lead, at the end taking care of project management as well.
