During these language lessons, I translated bidirectionally between Spanish and English to facilitate the elicitation sessions. I also collaborated with the professors (Dr. Michelle Yuan and Dr. Gabriela Caballero) and some graduate students in the department to create, manage, and maintain a dictionary database for native speakers of and others seeking to learn San Juan Piñas Mixtec, an under-documented, under-studied language indigenous to Oaxaca, Mexico.

I vetted and reviewed requests from employers and students for access to UC San Diego's Handshake portal. Using data from the portal, I designed informative reports to visualize advising appointment schedules and employer career fair registrations. For both employers and Associate Directors, I created the new marketing request form, now the Career Center’s standard. Using the responses to the form, I identified cohorts from a base of 200,000+ alumni and current students to promote relevant employer events to them via email blasts. By the end of my position, I had crafted and edited several comprehensive standard operating procedure documents for use throughout the department. In my last few weeks, I also scheduled interviews for potential new hires and trained my new co-workers for the role upon their hire.
