I started as a software engineer in the financial solutions team. I research and develop the features required for WSO2 Open Banking solution. In addition to research and development, I'm do testing, bug fixing, consulting the customer support team with the customer issues, documentation when required, customer engagements, etc. When developing and improving an Open Banking solution, I have to read different Open Banking specifications and understand the requirements and use cases. In addition to Open Banking specifications, I involve in reading and understanding Identity and API Management related specifications as well. Working in WSO2 gives opportunity to learn about multiple domains at once while working. I learn new things every day regarding Open Banking, Identity management and API management in WSO2.

I contributed to two projects in WSO2 API Manager team. 1. SwaggerHub Integration with WSO2 API Management CloudIn this project, I had to implement a plugin to integrate the Swagger Hub, a popular API generation and documentation tool with WSO2 API Management Cloud. I had to attend to direct meetings with the Swagger Hub developers in order to discuss the issues encountered while developing the plugin. I gained lots of experience on how to talk with customers and get most out of them by attending those meetings. 2. APIs with Dynamic Endpoints to Enable Continuous Integration and Continuous DevelopmentI worked on the above topic with the WSO2 API Manager On-Premise product in the second half of my internship period. I mainly learned how debug, understand and change an existing code in order to make it maintainable and testable. With this project delivered in time, I could gain much experience and fundamentals on how to follow the best coding standards. Also I gained knowledge on new technologies and was able to widen my knowlege on JAVA too. Since WSO2 gives freedom of continuous learning, I was able to get the best of my internship period.It was a a humble experience to be a part of a great company. Also, food, entertainment activieits too.
